Over The Dunes

Hi, my name is Isabella Capewell- Randall, I am a proud Baiyungu, Thudgurri, Nanda Nyarlu (woman) from Carnarvon. I am the owner and designer of Sea Turtle Designs. 
Sea Turtle Designs was created back in 2020 during COVID as a hobby. During this time, my interest were family portraits and local business photography. I knew it was a great start for the business, but the type of photography wasn't for me. 
I decided to expand my business by purchasing new photography equipment including a drone and a camera. When I purchased these items, I didn't know why or what I was planning to do with my photography. I remember taking my drone out for the first time out on country, it was the most peaceful, grounding experience to do something that I love out on country. 
One of my goals in life, is to share my knowledge and the experiences I've learnt from my Grandparents as in the past our language and culture has been lost. 
The Baiyungu Collection was inspired by my Great Grandmother and Grandfather as they are proud Baiyungu People. Throughout the years, my Grandmother shared her extensive knowledge on country, through stories, memories, language and culture. I never got to meet my Great Grandmother, but I know she was devoted to her Baiyungu heritage and culture as my Grandmother is today.
