Frilled neck lizard

Hello! I was born in the town of Mullewa, WA in 1943. I was educated in Carnarvon, and live here still with my children and grandchildren. Years ago I started doing Aboriginal Arts  because I liked to paint.
 
In 2005, Karen Collins came to town and  started a group of women weavers, sourcing natural grasses  to create baskets. We then began weaving our own baskets.  This is where I met Elaine and  we are still together creating baskets, lizards, emus, dolls and sculptures from recycled materials.
 
As a group we have travelled to many place  s including Darwin, Alice Springs and Perth. I am currently using Banana leaves and fibre
creating pieces for an exhibition later this year in Perth.
