Brown represents the tribe that lives on the land. Green represents the tribe who live in the tropics. The bright colors represent the tribe who lives down south, because of the wildflowers. Maureen Foster nee Toms). I was born in Kalgoorlie of an Aboriginal father and a Dutch mother.
Both my grandparents on my father's side were part of the Stolen Generation. My grandfather was born at Noonkanbah Station in the Kimberly and my grandmother was born in Bundaberg , QLD.
Maureen have previously exhibited artworks at the Wardan Cultural Centre near Yallingyup and was also involved om the Gecko program run by the Catholic Education Department.
I have recently moved to Carnarvon from Perth in September 2021.
