The snake represents The ocean and desert Tribes of Gascoyne Region meeting.
The Dots are people and the lines represent bringing the ocean to the desert< with the scales underneath on the snake's belly. This beautiful piece is a representation of the Maia Tribe of the Gascoyne Region. Whom were originally based around the Upper Gascoyne area. Rupert being one of the last Descendants of the Tribe.
